Polynomial and Rational Function

A function of the form

y = a₀ + a₁x + a₂x² + ......... + a_n-1x^n-1 + a_nxⁿ

where a_i ε R (I = 0, 1, 2, ........., n) and a_n ≠ 0 is called a polynomial function of

degree n. The domain of every polynomial function is R.
