Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test, known as UPCPMT for short, is conducted to screen candidates for admission to first year of first-degree medical courses:
MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery),
BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery),
BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery),
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), and
BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery).
CPMT 2015 is being overseen by the King George's Medical University (KGMU) which is situated in Lucknow, India. KGMU had been renamed as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University (CSMMU) for a while. It is ranked 4th out of 345 medical universities in India.

Domicile restrictions: Only residents of the state of Uttar Pradesh can apply for the UP medical entrance exam 2015. If a candidate has appeared for both Class X and Class 12 exams or their equivalents from a school in the state of Uttar Pradesh, he or she can sit for the exam. If a candidate has appeared for one or both of these exams from outside UP, he or she will need to produce a UP domicile certificate.
Age Limit: Students can sit for CPMT exam 2015, only if they are born on or before December 31, 1997. It means that they are at least 17 years old on December 31st , 2015. Upper age limit has not been specified.
Students must have cleared Class 12 board exam or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (including practical tests) and English as compulsory subjects to be able to appear for UP entrance exam 2015.
Students of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University can only target MBBS course after clearing 'Madhyama' exams with Science stream.
For BUMS courses, students also need to clear 'Urdu' exams equivalent to Class X exam in the subject.
General category students need to attain at least 50% marks on an average in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying exam as well as 50% marks in the CPMT exam to be able to qualify for MBBS and BDS courses. PH students need 45% marks in the specified subjects in Class 12 board exams as well as UPCPMT, while SC and ST students need 40% marks in both the exams.
For BHMS, BAMS and BUMS courses, all students will need at least 35% in the CPMT exam.
21% seats are reserved for SC students, 2% for ST students and 27% for Other Backward Classes (OBCs). If SC, ST or OBC candidates are chosen for General Category seats, they will not be included in the list for 'reservation' seats. In medical colleges established specifically under 'special component' plan, 70% seats are reserved for SC and ST students while 15% seats are reserved for OBC students.
Under each category, 2% seats are reserved for dependents of freedom fighters, son/daughter of former defense personnel, 3% seats for Physically Handicapped (PH) students, 20% seats for female students and 1% seats for 'C' certificate NCC candidates with 'B' grading.
According to UPCPMT 2015 notification, submission of UPCPMT application form will only take place online. UPCPMT 2015 form date extends from April to May , 2015.
Before you submit the UPCPMT form 2015, keep your scanned photo and scanned declaration form ready as instructed on the official website. Students must download the declaration form, read it carefully, fill it completely and then upload its scanned copy. They will need to produce the original copy of the declaration form during counselling, otherwise their candidature will not be considered.
You will have to create an account using your 10-digit mobile number and then, you will be asked for your e-mail ID. A verification code will be sent to your phone and your email address which you can then use to access the form.
Use only your correct, valid and active email ID and mobile number in the form as all the exam communication is done through SMS and email. Once you have submitted the UPCPMT online application form 2015, you will not be able to make any changes to it. So, read it carefully before submitting the form. Do take a printout of your filled-up UPCPMT application form 2015 and note down your application ID number.
Applicants can pay admission fee online or offline:
Those who choose to pay the fee online through Internet Payment Gateway using debit card or credit card can submit the fee by May , 2015 .
Applicants who choose to pay the application fee in cash can do so at Axis Bank or Allahabad Bank. They will be able to access UPCPMT 2015 online form only two days after depositing the fee. Last date to pay the fees in cash is May , 2015

CPMT UP has only one question paper with conducted on only one day. The duration of the exam is three hours. CPMT exam date 2015 is June 22 and the exam will take place from 9 am to 12 noon. The question paper will test the students on four subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
There will be 50 questions from each subject of the Class 12 level of the UP Board. All the questions are objective-type and each question will carry 1 mark. In all, there are 200 questions worth 200 marks to be solved in 180 minutes. Hence, students get less than a minute to mark correct answer for each question.
There is no negative marking in the UPCPMT exam.
UPCPMT result will be announced on July , 2015.
The evaluation of the exam will only be done through computer. KGMU does not provide copy of your OMR sheet and there is no provision for re-evaluation of the exam. Students can however apply for scrutiny of UPCPMT 2015 result, where totalling of marks can be done again.
Once the results are declared, UPCPMT answer key will be published on the official website.
If a chosen student has not appeared for the Hindi exam in Class X, he or she will have to clear a question paper on Hindi subject based on general knowledge.
UPCPMT cutoff 2015 is expected to be similar to the exam cutoffs last year which were as follows:
For MBBS and BDS seats,
50% for General Category students,
40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
For medical courses in Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy, the exam cut-off was 35%.
The actual UPCPMT cut off marks 2015 will be declared after the results.
