  1. One thing I have to disagree with you on .. having lived for several years in Pilani and Roorkee, Roorkee is a much prettier campus than Pilani. Thats not to say Pilani is not pretty — just that comparatively, Roorkee is nicer.. just my 2c worth.

  2. There is a lot more than just this.
Possibly it is the only place where you would be a Computer Geek along with being an excellent BIOLOGIST!
A Civil Engineer who is an expert in Economics and Finance.
Another great thing is the ZERO ATTENDANCE policy. BITS Pilani does not make people come to classes because of some minimum prescribed attendance limit but just because of the shear interest of the student in attending classes for his/her own gains.
Part of it makes you take that decision and not just this decision even the decision about what course you would be taking instead of the institute telling you to take some particular course.
I would like to mention our fests specially which stand out despite the vast difference in management between our fests at Pilani and that at any other College. Here the entire organization is left to the students who get it to the highest level possible!
Join BITS Pilani and experience it yourself:)

    1. I have been observing a lot of discussion going on in favor of BITS Pilani and trying to justify it above IITs. BITS can never be above IITs even new one. IITs are far far better than BITS Pilani. I know the students who left the BITS and preferred the new IIT. This seems to be just to popularize the BITS and sponsored by its authorities. Please do not misguide the bright students.

      1. it is the only institute in India which does not offer reservations (based on caste, color, creed, financial status, etc.) That is why BITS is not given any govt aids/ funds.

BITS donated a part of its campus for CEERI, so that the technology development can increase.

Still maintaining the legacy and providing the country with biggest technocrats and entrepreneurs is what makes it bigger and better than IITs.

  3. I was assigned as TEACHING ASSISTANT for ENGINEERING GRAPHICS in IIT kharagpur. students have to use engineering boards for initial classes and later on they are tought solid works.
