Other IITs in the list of Top 10 Technological Schools in India were IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT BHU, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Guwahati rank-wise. It is believed that it is because of the kind of infrastructure and academic breadth older IITs offer that give them an edge over newer IITs. But it is believed that newer IITs will soon catch up too. After all, it took decades for the older IITs to build the academic excellence and reputation they enjoy now.
