Solving previous-years papers is an ideal practice to reserve your success in JEE-Main. They allow you to have an insight into the type of questions, marking scheme, and time duration. By solving these papers, you actually develop your confidence of cracking the paper as it gives you a great idea of how the exam will be.

Say No To New Topics
You must reserve last few days to examination for a quality revision. Taking on a new topic at this time will only make your preparation complex. Taking on new topics will not help and be a total waste of time.
“No need to read any new topic but to strengthen the weak areas. In last few days, it is not advisable to refer to new study material. Whatever you have solved in the past months, go through that properly again, along with the notes given by teachers,†advised Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari, Director Career Point.

This is the time when students must identify with key concepts and start strengthening them in an effective manner. Idea is to find out more and more topics and strengthen them.
“Devote your time to topics as per their weightage from the examination point of view,†said Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari.

Manage Your Time
Without right time management nobody can crack JEE-Main. This is the right to strategize the flow and proper time management. Strategizing time management is about knowing how much you will spend on a particular section during the examination. This will also save you from the panic of the real examination.
“I allotted 45 minutes for Chemistry, which was my strong point. Then 1 hour was allotted for Physics and the rest of the time was allotted for Maths. Time management also is dependent on the individual. I planned my strategy as per my strong points and preparation,†said Nikhil Chaturvedi, JEE-Topper (AIR 4).
Don’t Neglect your Health and Keep Calm
All know that a healthy brain lives in a healthy body but a few follow it seriously. Many JEE toppers have suggested JEE aspirants to make a healthy lifestyle a routine. Going for small walks and doing exercises come in handy. Eat small meals five or six times a day. Avoid eating too much in one go. Add balanced amount of fiber and protein in your daily diet.
Don’t forget to give your mind the required rest. Indulge in your favorite time pass. Listen to your favorite music. Play any game you like. Read and go out with friends for a while.
