JEE Main opens gates to 30 NITs, 9 IIITs and 14 other government colleges!
New Delhi: Engineering aspirants preparing for JEE 2014 often enquire about which engineering colleges and technical institutes rub by the government they can opt for, if they fail to make it to the IITs. Government colleges are much more affordable than private engineering colleges that accept students on the basis of their JEE Main rank too.
Currently, they can look forward to admission in thirty National Institutes of Technology (NITs), nine Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and fourteen other central government or state government funded technical institutes.
