This year, Andhra Pradesh has witnessed the maximum number of JEE Advanced 2014 qualified student followed by Uttar Pradesh. The state has topped the list consecutively for the second time. It topped the list in the year 2013 as well. Rajasthan has maintained the third position with 16867students qualifying the examination.
This year, the surprise element has been Maharashtra which has shown a boost with a 47% increase in the no of qualifying candidates pushing Bihar to the fifth place. Other states which have shown remarkable performance in the number of JEE Advanced 2014 Registrations are Gujarat with a 35% increase and Kerala with a 46.1%.
