Despite the fact that the Haryana Police has made arrests in the paper leak case of the All-India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) conducted on May 3, 2015 and submitted evidences that answer keys of 123 questions were transmitted to students in Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Haryana, the CBSE is insisting that there was ‘no leak’ whatsoever. It has been found that 72 mobile phones were used in the scam but the Central Board of Secondary Education chooses to shut its eyes.
Even the Supreme Court of India is reluctant to allow re-examination for such a large-scale national-level exam. It is pushing Haryana Police to find out the beneficiaries of these answer keys. AskIITians had recently conducted the poll on what you think about whether the CBSE was being honest and truthful when it said that AIPMT paper leak was just a rumour:
- As many as 66.1% people think that the CBSE is trying to save its face by ‘lying’ about the whole incident.
- 17.9% people chose to believe the CBSE.
- 7% people were ‘not sure’ about whether to believe the CBSE or not.
- There were 9.1% people who ‘do not care’ about what really happens.
