SAT-2 also known as SAT- Subject Test is a test used for admission in colleges across USA on a wide basis. The exam is conducted by the College Board, a non-profit organization in the United States. SAT-2 is aimed at analyzing student’s readiness for college.
SAT-2 can be given by students of high school and +2. It measures analyzing and problem-solving skills of test takers they learned in school which they will need in college. SAT Subject Tests is used by colleges for admission, for course placement, and to advise students about course selection.
Student can opt for maximum of three SAT Subject Tests on any available date; a per-administration registration fee is included, addition to it is a flat fee for each test that the student plans to take. It is not compulsory to take same number of tests that student registered for, nor the student needs to take the same subject’s test that they registered for. Student can take test of some other subject as well by paying the registration fees later (except for the language tests).
Currently, there are 20 different tests, 12 of which are foreign language tests. Examinees are allowed to bring an acceptable calculator for Mathematics tests (calculator is allowed for Mathematics test only), and a CD player to take the language tests (listening tests).
