June 10, 2015
The All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) 2015 results had to be declared on June 5, 2015. The Supreme Court had earlier put a stay on the declaration of AIPMT result till June 10 but now extended the stay for 2 more days – until June 12, 2015 – in the wake of ongoing investigation of AIPMT answer key leak scam.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had conducted the AIPMT 2015 exam on May 3, 2015. Haryana police has arrested 12 people and 25 students till now in connection with the leak of AIPMT answer keys on the day of the exam. These include two dentists and a MBBS student. The kingpin of the paper leak racket Roop Singh Dangi is absconding and the Haryana police has announce a reward of Rs 1 lakh for anyone who provides information about him. Dangi is a resident of Madina village in Rohtak district, Haryana.
The Supreme Court did not allow the AIPMT exam to be re-conducted and asked the Haryana Police to track the beneficiaries instead. A vacation Bench of Justice Prafulla C Pant and Justice Amitava Roy of Supreme Court has now directed it to accelerate its investigation in the case.
Lakhs of students and parents who were anxiously waiting for the result have been disappointed yet again due to repeated delays in announcement of CBSE AIPMT Result 2015.
I think the survey conducted by askiitians should be submitted to the supreme court so that they get a good idea about the peoples’ opinion. The supreme court has given a statement that its not easy to conduct a re-exam for 6lac students, but it is not taking into consideration about the life of the students who are losing a medical seat and also their carrer getting spoilt.
