There is a piece of good news for all candidates appearing for EAMCET 2014 on May 22nd.  Experts have confirmed of no negative marking in the examination, thus, students can now attempt all questions without any fear of losing marks.
According to reports, a lot of candidates believe that there is negative marking in the examination just like other exams such JEE-Main and JEE-Advance. However, the belief is completely untrue. The total percentage of EAMCET candidates not marking the answers is 10 percent.
The total number of candidates appearing for EAMCET 2014 is around 3 lakh out of which 30,000 are not even attempting or guessing questions they don’t know answers of. Considering such a huge number of candidates not marking the answers under misconceptions, the authorities have decided to take things seriously and have also decided to conduct awareness programs in every district. Candidates are hereby encouraged to mark all the answers as there is no negative marking. They are all open to guess.
The EAMCET examination is going to be held in two sessions on May 22nd. Engineering test will be held in the morning while Medical test will be held in the afternoon. Candidates can download hall tickets of EAMCET 2014 on its official website from apeamcet-2014.org.
The EAMCET 2014 examination is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. The examination is taken by both engineering and medical aspirants seeking admission to prestigious colleges for respective undergraduate programs in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
