In all likelihood, CBSE is going to declare class 10th Boards results on June 30th, 2014 unlike previous year when the results were declared on May 30th. In fact, class 10th result in Chennai region out four days earlier on May 26th, 2013.
Last year, students could check their class 10th results on mobile phones on the following numbers: 24300699 (for Delhi) and 01124300699 (other states). It is believed that the numbers will remain same this year.
Students can check their results through IVRS, which will cost them 0.30/minute per roll number. SMS service can also be used to check the results. SMS service will cost Rs. 1.00.
The total number of students who have registered for class X is 1,32,8970, which is a 5.54 percent higher than the previous year. Class X examination was held between March 1 and March 19 this year.
The marking scheme of CBSE has undergone a sea of change in the past few years. It now has grading system in place to check suicidal deaths and depression among students. Students will receive grades under the CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) system.
