The MD of engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro Limited guided students to come back to the country post the completion of their studies abroad as there are abundant professional opportunities available for them here.
“There are many opportunities in this country. Go and study abroad but do come back. You will have careers and dreams to pursue here and you must remember your alma mater and also that you have a debt to pay to this nation,” advised Krishnamurthy Venkataramanan, L&T Chief Executive and MD.
Venkataramanan was speaking as chief guest at the 3rd convocation ceremony of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. 123 students of B Tech, 36 of M Tech and two of PhD were awarded the degrees. Moreover, 40 medals and awards for excellence in academic, leadership, sports, and community service were presented to graduating students.
Sudhir K Jain, the Director of IIT Gandhinagar shared the six-year-old institute’s achievements on this event. Jain said, “As per the current scenario, continued engagement, participation and ownership of our stakeholders, I am confident that it is not too distant that the country and the world will start to acknowledge IIT Gandhinagar as one of the leading universities in India and among the best in the entire world.â€Â
Most of the companies can hire people who done its education from best Universities ,got degree of it as it makes on priority basis.After completing studies we have to come back and apply for better opportunity and you will definitely get positive responses.
