The total number of seats for Computer Science & Engineering at different IITs and ISM is 923 seats.  The number of seats for CSE is highest at ISM Dhanbad & IIT Kanpur with 92 each, and the lowest at IIT Madras with just 30 seats.

• According to ranking for admission at different IITs in 2013, applicants with the lowest rank of 5041 could get a CSE seat in at least one of the 16 IITs.
• In 2013, IIT Bombay was the most sought after IIT for Computer Science & Engineering amongst the top scorers.

• As per the cut-off list, closing rank of Computer Science & Engineering was the lowest at ISM Dhanbad.
• Other top IITs for Computer Science & Engineering include IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur respectively.
• IIT Gandhinagar did not offer CSE last year.
