The results of the JEE-Advanced 2014  have been declared recently and students along with their parents are eagerly making the preference for favourite IITs in India. According to the reports of Rediff.com, IIT Kanpur which usually enjoys the top most position among all the IITs is struggling to keep up with the charm. Among the top rankers, only two students have chosen IIT Kanpur as the preferred study destination. This dramatic change in the trend of selecting preferred IITs is depended on the location. With the growing technologies and advent of new technologies in metropolitan cities, candidates desire to get enrolled in better location for great job opportunities and maximum exposure. Apart from the factors mentioned above, most of the candidates are hailed from major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, etc. Many of them even stay nearby and hence prefer to study in the close IIT institutes, rather than going far away. According to a senior office, IITs in Mumbai and Delhi have now become the favourite choice of IIT aspirants.
