Irrespective of how hyped JEE preparation, it is not difficult to crack JEE Mains or even JEE Advanced if you know your basics well. However, you need at least 45 to 60 days of serious intense studies to score well in JEE exams.
Since JEE Mains 2015 will be conducted in April, here is the study plan you should follow in February and March:

This will take you at least 10 hours every day at this stage – including 3 hours of solving one JEE paper every day.
- Maintain balance between subjects: Many students tend to ignore a particular subject, especially Chemistry, when they prepare for JEE exam. However, JEE exam trends say that Chemistry paper is always easier than Maths and Physics papers and can help you improve your score considerably. Hence, maintain a balance between the subjects when you study.
- Learn shortcuts: There are many tricks, shortcuts and techniques that have been used by IIT aspirants for years to solve Maths & Physics problems quickly. Learn such methods and practice them when you solve papers every day.
- Focus on Board Exams: If this is your first JEE attempt, you are probably appearing for Class 12 board exams too. Focus on it as board marks have 40% weightage in the JEE Main merit list.
- Join Capsule JEE Coaching Programs & Test Series: Many online JEE coaching providers these days offer crash courses and capsule coaching problems that may help you make the optimum use of time available to you to prepare for JEE exams.
