Finally, the JEE-Advanced 2014 examination is over but hard times for IIT aspirants have just begun. Since the exam ended on May 25th, 2014, all the aspirants have started anxiously waiting for the results. Obviously, stress levels are high among JEE-Advanced 2014 candidates considering the exam will bring that coveted seat in one of IITs.
According to official reports, the result of the JEE-Advanced 2014 examination is likely to be announced on June 18th, 2014. Meanwhile, the CBSE Board will announce its results as students in top 20 percentile will get the seat in IITs.
It is important for all 44 boards in the country to declare their results before the results of the JEE-Advanced 2014 examination is announced on June 18th, otherwise the top 20 percentile at par with CBSE will be taken into consideration for the selection of the students in IIT.
Following the result of the JEE-Advanced 2014, online counseling of the qualified candidates will start from June 20th. The result of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the counseling session will be declared on July 1st and 7th, 2014 respectively.
