It is confirmed that JEE & NEET exams will be held twice a year and guess what, both exams to be conducted online!!!!
Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday announced that the NEET, the gateway to medical and dental colleges across the country and JEE Main, for admission into engineering colleges will be conducted twice a year from January 2019 and will be held by the newly formed examination conducting agency, National Testing Agency (NTA).
These competitive exams will be held on multiple dates, the best score will be considered for further process to admission in colleges.
JEE Main exam will be held in January and April while NEET will be held in February and May. The JEE (Advanced) will continue to be conducted by the IITs(JAB).
All these exams would be computer-based and that students can practice at home or at authorized computer centers free of cost. The details of such centers would be announced soon. Syllabus, question format, language, and fees won’t change. Each exam will be conducted on four to five dates.
