In the latest news for AIPMT-2014, students who have applied for the exam without late fee can download their admit cards from April 1 while students with late fee application can download their admit cards from April 10th.
Admit cards will only be sent by post. Students are required to keep their admit cards until the completion of the admission process of any medical or dental undergraduate course.
All admit cards will include Roll Number, Name of the student, Father’s Name of the student, Category, Sub-Category, Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, Language of Question Paper with Name and Address of AIPMT 2014 Examination center.
AIPMT by CBSE will be conducted on May 4th by CBSE for undergraduate medical and dental courses.
Scores obtained in AIPMT can be used for admission in 15 % seats in government medical and dental colleges. Participating colleges make most of these scores as well.
NEET (the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) was replaced by AIPMT or All India Pre-Medical Entrance Test in 2013. NEET was used for MBBS and BDS admissions. AIPMT’s syllabus is same as NEET UG.
AIPMT-2014 will have 180 objective-type multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Students will have to answer them in 3 hours. The syllabus of AIPMT-2014 is based on topics from class 11th and 12th.
