NIT Puducherry honoured with the Excellence Award 2014

National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal is honoured with the CCI Technology Education Awards-2014 for ‘Excellence in Teaching Modern Engineering and Technology Aspects’. This prestigious award is conferred by the Gujarat Technological University and Communication Multimedia and Infrastructure Association of India.
The director of NIT-Py, Dr Mrs S K Pandey is honoured with this award by the minister of the Higher and Technical Education, Gujarat department, Bhupendra Singh Chudasame. Eminent personalities have enhanced the glory of this event with their presence, and the list includes the vice-chancellors and directors of various Indian universities, deputy high commissioner of Malawi, India, Lewis Mbilizi, high commissioner of Nigeria to India, Ndubuisi V Amaku, ambassador of Afghanistan to India, ambassador of Afghanistan to India, Shaida Mohd. Abdali and Ambassador of Indonesia, Rizali W Indrahesuma.
For an institute of this young, achieving this prestigious award is beyond anybody’s expectation. This educational institute was established in 2010 and it was operating from the premises of Arignar Anna Government Arts College at Karaikal. For BTech courses in four disciplines of the engineering field this institute offers around 120 seats only.
