  1. This is really ridiculous why government has not taken any action yet, just because IITJ is a new IIT they are not taking this seriously?
Students are fighting from last 22 days, and director is still not resigned Smriti irani should interfere in this matter as she is continuously interfering in old IITs

  2. This government won’t listen they are waiting for few more suicides :

  3. One of my friend is there and he told me all about this is really sad that government is not doing anything, this is what happens when you give such important ministry to a class 12th passed she is not even graduate,

HRD Minister should be change asap! otherwise she will ruin the future of india

  4. Extremely Disgraceful, i have expected a lot from this government :'(

  5. IIT alumnus should interfere in this they are protesting from last 20 days? what is media doing in this?

  6. The question I would like to ask is, “Why did 5 companies decide to leave IIT Jodhpur if it was all a happy world at the IIC”? Why did 3 companies leave according to the article?

  7. Hi, I am Ankit, I used to run one of the startup incubated at IIC, IIT Jodhpur. As this article says that IIC is not closed down. 3 out of 5 companies incubated over there were not given extension to run there company and remaining two were only given false promise of releasing their 10 Lac Rs of award money soon (Note that this award money is pending in IIT Jodhpur files since last 1 and a half year). The other 3 companies who had not been given chance of continuing it further was because of not enough progress made at their end in last one year. Point to note is, since last one year IIT Jodhpur administration (New Director behind the scene but not on paper, He is clever enough to not give any thing in writing) have not released there funds. How come one can expect a startup to make progress if you cut down their legs and hands buy blocking their funds. Not only that IIT Jodhpur administration keeps keep us engaged in false paper work all the time and in false pretension of releasing money (Which each of the company won in a National Level competition organised by IIT Jodhpur & held in 2012).
Whom so ever told AskIITians guys that IIC is not closed yet, he is speaking the truth cleverly hiding a fact that Director and his administration made it impossible to work over their so that companies have no other choice but to leave the place on their own.
