Two IIT JEE Toppers among 4 Brand Ambassadors of Digital India campaign
It’s a proud moment for all IITians. Two of the IIT JEE Toppers have been chosen as the brand ambassador of the Digital Indian campaign started by PM Narendra Modi.
The 4 Brand Ambassadors that have been chosen are:
- Satvat Jagwani: 17-year old Satvat hails from the Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. He topped the IIT JEE (JEE Advanced) 2015 exam with 469 marks out of a total of 504 marks. Born to a doctor couple, Satvat went to Kota (in Rajasthan) for his JEE preparation.
Satvat is a black belt in Karate and has an IQ of 138. According to his father, he has a photographic memory. Physics and Mathematics are his favorite subjects.
- Krati Tiwari: 17-year old Krati too comes from Madhya Pradesh. She is the girl topper of the JEE Advanced 2015 exam. Her AIR was #47.
Hailing from Indore, Krati used to Mhow daily for JEE coaching – which is 35 km away. She said that her hectic schedule made her want to quit but she persisted only to make her IIT dream come true.
Krati’s father is a bank employee while her mother is a housewife.
- Ankit Fadia:  The self-proclaimed ethical hacker, Ankit, is now 30 year old. He started a website about ethical hacking at a very young age and since then, has authored 16 books on the topic. He has also given lectures in almost all the major colleges and universities of the world, has starred on the MTV show called ‘What the Hack’ and shares technology tips and tricks through YouTube channel called ‘Geek on the Loose’.
Ankit will promote Digital India on social media and personal media platforms, participate in Digital India events whenever invited, and provide inputs on digital projects the government undertakes.
- Pranav Mistry: The oldest of the lot, Pranav is 35 year old. He is the Global Vice President of Research at Samsung, USA and has worked for Microsoft, Google, CMU, NASA, UNESCO, and Japan Science and Technology toll now.
A computer scientist, he has many innovations to his credit such as SixthSense (a wearable gesture-based computer system), Mouseless (invisible computer mouse), Quickies (intelligent sticky notes) and a 3D pen. He is also known for his work on Samsung Galaxy Gear and Project Beyond.
These brand ambassadors have been appointed for a year and their services will be used to spread mass awareness about the campaign as and when required.
