Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) 2016

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University SAAT is an entrance test which is conducted at national level by Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University to enroll the deserving students from all over the country. There are different programs which are covered under this exam.  SAAT 2016, Written test  : 8th July 2016 11 AM 12 Noon. There would be 65 centers in 46 cities where this exam would be held. Application Procedure for SAAT 2016

The interested candidates can download the form and brochure from the official site and can apply online by making the payment of Rs 500/- through debit/credit card. 

Or, can get the form in person / by Post from the SOA University,  Khandagiri  Square, Bhubaneswar - 751030, or from different counters of the constituent institutes of the university on payment of Rs 500/- in cash (on account of examination fees).

Or, even get the application form from designated Punjab National Bank or Axis bank branches  by paying cash of Rs 500/-.

SAAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Courses

Eligibility  Criteria

B.Tech/Dual Degree in Engineering/ Dual Degree in Management

Must be pass or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam in the year 2016 with at least 55% aggregate marks. He/she must have at least Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Or, the interested ones have passed with at least 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering/ Technology.

MBBS / BDS

Must be appearing or pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. The candidate must be at least 17 years of age and not more than 25 years as on 31.12.2016. However, there is relaxation in eligibility criteria and age criteria for the reserved classes.

B.Pharma 

Must be pass or appearing in 10+2 examination with Physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the other subject. Or, he/she should be a diploma holder in Pharmacy with at least 60% marks.

BHMCT

Must be pass or appearing in 10+2 exam in any discipline with minimum 45% marks

B.Sc. Nursing (Basics)

Must be pass or appearing in 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as basic subjects.

Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Post Basic)

He/she must be a member of TNAI and must have pass GNM exam.

Five years integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB

 Must be pass or appearing in 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks.

M.Tech

Must have passed either B.E. or B.Tech or AMIE or MCA or M.Sc.

MCA

Must have passed or is appearing at three years Bachelor Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.

MBA / MHA / MHTM / MHMCT

Must have passed or appearing in bachelor degree program with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

M.Pharma

Must have passed or appearing in B.Pharma exams with at least 50% marks.

M.Sc. Nursing

Must have passed B.Sc. Nursing with at least 55% aggregate from a Indian Nursing Council recognized Institution and must be registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse.

LLM

Should have the Bachelor Degree in Law or should have studied Integrated Law Course with at least 50% aggregate marks.

SAAT 2016 Examination Procedure

The examination paper will have multiple choice questions in which there will be 60 questions per hour of examination. There will be four answers given with each question and the candidate has to blacken the correct one only with HB pencil or blue/black ballpoint pen. For each correct answer, four marks will be allotted whereas for each incorrect answer, there will be negative marking and one mark will be deducted. If the candidate darkens more than one answer, it will be considered incorrect and again one mark will be deducted. Those questions which are unanswered will be allotted zero mark.

Counseling and Admission Procedure

Those who qualify SAAT 2016 would be called for the counseling which would be held in ITER campus or in University campus. The exact schedule of the counseling will be intimated later on. A SAAT 2016 merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of entrance exam. The date of counseling will be published on the website along with the result. The interested candidates have to attend the counseling on the scheduled date along with some documents which are listed below:
