ANNA UNIVERSITY ELIGIBILITY FOR ENGINEERING ADMISSIONS 2016

  • Candidates belonging to the state of Tamil Nadu only are eligible to apply for TNEA 2016.

  • The candidates clearing the 10+2 or its equivalent Qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for Anna University Admissions 2016

  • Minimum qualifying marks for TNEA is 50% marks in aggregate for General Category (for ST / SCA/ MBC & DNC/ BC/ SC candidates are required to score a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate)

ANNA UNIVERSITY APPLICATION FORM 2016

  • Candidates can apply Online by visiting the website www.annauniv.edu and pay the application fees online using Debit/Credit card or online banking.

  • Candidates can obtain the application form by post also by sending a requisition letter along with a DD for 700/- ( 450/- for SCA / SC / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu along with Permanent Community Card)

  • Filled-in Coding Sheet

  • Special Reservation Form (s) with DD and photocopy of the Relevant Certificate

  • Photocopy of class 10th board exam Mark Sheet

  • Class 10th HSC or Equivalent Mark Sheet

  • Transfer Certificate

  • Permanent Community Certificate for SC, ST, MBC & DNC, BC, SCA

  • Class 10th/HSC Hall Ticket

  • Nativity Certificate – If applicable

  • Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee certificate (If applicable)

TNEA 2016 Selection Procedure

  • The selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination.

  • Categorization based on the communities

  • Aggregate marks scored in Physics and Mathematics

  • Aggregate marks scored 4th optional subject

  • Birth Date of the candidate

TNEA COUNSELING 2016

  • The candidate are required to remit the fees towards conduction of counseling at the Bank counter and receive a bank receipt or challan.

  • The candidate’s certificates and supporting documents in original format will be verified.

  • The candidates will then be called according to the session rank before the terminal for counseling for allotment of seats

  • After the seat allotment is done the candidates can collect the allotment order and can enrol for admission before the last date mentioned in the allotment order.
