2 C2H6 + 7 O2 --->4 CO2 +6 H2O
ethane rqd = 2volume oxygen rqd = 7 volume therefore for 300 cc of ethane volume of oxygen rqd = 150 x 7 cc = 1050 cc volume of carbon dioxide formed will be = 4 volume = 4 x 150 cc = 600 cc volume of unused oxygen left = 1250 - 1050 =200 cc
