Reflected sound waves are called echoes.
An echo is a sound that is reflected off a surface and heard again. This occurs when sound waves encounter a reflective surface, such as a wall, mountain, or building, and bounce back to the listener. The time delay between the original sound and the reflected sound allows us to perceive the echo.
For a clear echo to be heard, the sound must reflect off a surface at a sufficient distance (usually more than 17 meters) so that the time interval between the original sound and the reflected sound is long enough to distinguish the two.
