In Mathematics, ! stands for factorial.
 
For example, x! means the product of all natural numbers till x(including x).

Lets assume A be a digit then the notation A! implies the product of all the number before A From 1 to A .
For example :  1! = 1 , 2! = 2 × 1 = 2 , 3! = 3 × 2 × 1 = 6, 4! = 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 24 
Now 5! = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 20 × 6 = 120
Remember that 0! is "1". You get why it is in chapter called permuations in class 11th.
