Euclid's fifth postulate, also known as the Parallel Postulate, states:

"If a straight line intersects two other straight lines in such a way that the sum of the interior angles on one side is less than two right angles, then the two lines, if extended indefinitely, meet on that side."

To make this easier to understand, it can be rewritten as:

"If two straight lines are cut by a transversal, and the angles on one side of the transversal add up to less than 180 degrees, the two lines will eventually meet on that side if extended far enough."

This simplified version keeps the core idea intact while making it easier to grasp the concept of lines meeting under certain conditions.
