I really do think that we use this equation
2r=3.5+r
I use this equation because the bigger sphere with more radius sinks while the smaller sphere stays on the surface of the water, which tells us that the density of the smaller sphere is equal to the density of water due to which the sphere floats just above the surface of water. No as per the equation:-
2r=3.5+r
2r-r=3.5
r=3.5g/cm3
2r=3.5*2=7g/cm3
therefore the bigger sphere sinks while smaller sphere floats just below the surface of water.
