if te exp3x2+2pxy+2y2+2ax-4y +1=0can be resolved into two linear factors....prove that p must be one of the roots of the equation...p2+4ap+2a2+6=0

use the condition that

abc +2fgh -af²-bg²-ch²=0

it will give

p²+4ap+2a²+6=0
