What is the number of normals to a parabola from a given point (h,k) ?I know the standard method of finding the roots of the slope form equation of normal, but that's time consuming. I'm looking for an easier method.I believe in your accuracy, please help asap.Thanks in advance.

depends on position of point wrt parabola if 
it lies on it then only two normals possibe 
if outside 3
