Phospholipid content of a muscle is relate to its activity i.e. amount of work which it habitually does. The greater the amount of work, the higher is the phospholipid content. cardiac and skeletal muscles have higher phospholipid level than smooth muscles.
Cholesterol content is directly proportional to spontaneous activity of a muscle. Skeletal muscle is not spontaneously active so it has least cholesterol.
So overall its cardiac muscle which has highest cholesterol and phospholipids because it has spontaneous activity and has maximum energy expenditure.
