Cleavage is the phase of embryogenesis consist of rapid cell divison just after the fertilisation in mammalian zygote.
This division is mitotic divisionresults in formation of daughter cells named blastomers and division is?called cleavage division.
In this cleavage division egg is completely divided, thats why it referred as Holo- blastic.255-1697_cleavage.png
