is IT branch gud????compare it wid electrical,mechanical,eee,cs,ec(rank these)

yes IT is very good branch .. but less preferred if we compare branches like electrical, cs, ec.. But it totally depends on the person's interest... 

IT is more about software. It is responsible for storing information, protecting information, processing the information, transmitting the information as necessary, and later retrieving information as necessary.

order of prefrence is like : cs > electrical > ec = IT > mechanical > eee.
