few aqueous solutions of organic compounds conduct electricity.
Organic compounds are complex, usually contain many atoms, and their structure, while complex, has only a few types of bonds which in their arrangement, result in essentially non-polar molecules.
Organic compounds in solution are non-ionic. They don't disassociate in solutions.
These two characteristics prevent the movement of electronic charge (a current due to conduction) or a movement of charged particles.
WATER, Carbon/graphite are good conductors of electricity.
CH3CH2OH (alcohol) conduct electricity
some of the semi conductors when doped becomes good conductors of elctricity.
