You may use an important theorem for resolving this type of a symmetric circuit.
”The junctions along the symmetric bisector of the line joining A and B can be opened”
From this law, the branch AOB can be seperate from that of the above and then a simple circuit of series and parallel is formed as shown in figure.

Due to symmetry we can remove resistance on opposite arc of AB.
THen you can easily solve and get answer 4R/7.
