a thin prism of angle 5 degrees is placed at a distance of 10 cm from object. What is the distance of the image from the object ? (given refractive index of prism=1.5)

There is no formula or method to calculate img. dist. with so limited gvn quantities. PLS carefully check the question please.

First calculate deviation(min) using deviation=(myu-1)A then it comes to be 5/2 then convert it into radians which is π/72 then multiply this deviation value by object distance I.e. (π/72)×10=5π/36.as the deviation is caused in the position of image .5π/36 is the answer
