The component of the force in the vertical direction will be F(perpendicular)=F.cosα =10.5N(cos37) =10.5N(4/5) =8.40N

=10.5×4/5                    (as cos37°is equal to 4/5)        
=8.4 N
So the answer of component of force in the vertical direction  is 8.4N
