your rank will be around 1500-2100. for GE category you can get mechanical in IITG, IIT BHU,ISM Dhanbad, iit roorkee etc.

Don’t opt for mechanical at IIT Roorkee.The placements aren’t great.You can get mech at BHU.Join IIT Roorkee only if you want to go for higher studies coz IIT R>IIT BHU.
