If you want to go in Old IITs, then you would have the choices:
IIT Delhi: Textile, Biotech
IIT Kharagpur: Food & Agriculture, Biotech
IIT Kanpur: Bioengg., B.S. in Chemistry
IIT Roorkee: Biotech, Pulp & Paper, Metallurgy & Material
IIT Guwahti: Biotech, Chemical Science & Tech.
IIT BHU: Chemical, Metallurgy, Mining
You would have chance of getting core engineering branches at new IITs.
