Sir if a student get good rank in jee advance e.g b/w 1000 to 2000 and if he is not in top 20 percentile category but his %is nearly 80 then in that situation can he get admission in iit.

My rank is 29k, General, should I opt for any state college cse branch or some Nits in which in which I am getting ECE , chemical, mechanics etc....
