The nodal planes of the dx2−y2 orbitals are the non-hub planes.
Clarification:
A nodal plane or nodal surface of a wave-capacity is a territory where there is zero relocation; zero electron thickness.
Case: 3dx2−y2 orbital
Since the d−orbitals have distinct geometric properties, it is anything but difficult to perceive such planes/surfaces, and these are the locales which have no pivotal part in the xy plane.
