“On moving away from the nucleus, the successive permitted orbits are further apart in distance, but closer in energy”. Justify this statement.

As we know radius is directly proportional to n (number of orbital ) hence orbital increase distance increases radius increases. 
Whereas energy =13.6 z^2/n^2 means its inversely proportional to n hence change of energy goes on decreasing
