just write it as ∫x^2/(x^2+2)(x^2 – 1)
now employing partial fractions, split it as:
so, the given integral becomes 
∫2/3(x^2+2) – ∫1/6(x+1)+∫1/6(x – 1)
which on integration gives
root2/3*arctanx/root2+[log(x-1)/(x+1)]/6+C
