For gettin proper divisor we substract 2(1 and the no. Itself)from the total no of divisor but in this quesion you have substracted 1....im confused ..plz clear my dobt

Dear student

Proper divisor. Aproper divisorof a positive integer is anydivisorof other than itself. Thus, prime numbers have exactly oneproper divisor, 1, and every other number has at least twoproper divisors

for nuumber 2-> 1,2 are divisors
but proper divisor is only 1 and NOT 2 (or the number itself in consideration here 2)
