A barometer kept in an elevator accelerating upwards reads 76 cm of mercury column. Is the pressure inside the elevator greater than or less than 76 cm of Hg column? Give Explanation.

The barometer is accelarating upwards and g is acting downwards, so the pressure will be less than 76 cms.
