A helicopter is flying in a straight line over a level field at a constant speed of 6.0 m/s and at a constant altitude of 9.9 m. A package is ejected horizontally from the helicopter with an initial velocity of 15.0 m/s relative to the helicopter, and in a direction opposite the helicopter's motion. Hey sahiti
Vph = Vp -Vh ......(1)
Where Vph = -15 m/s (as it's in opposite direction of helicopter )
Vh=+6 m/s
So Vp = Vph + Vh (from ....1)
= -15 + 6
= -9 m/s
So the velocity of package wrt ground is 9 m/s in the opposite direction of motion of the helicopter
