Assuming general category, toget intotopNITyourscore shouldbe more than 200 and toget intodecent/fairNIT'syourscore shouldbe above 120.

It all depends on the respective colleges and their cut off
It all starts from 130 to range for 350 to the grade of college you need (assuming gm category)
You can search it off in the Google for the respective cut off
