Dear rajesh raju,

Bromobenzene undergoes Electrophilic Substitution Reaction just because the Bromine(-Br) group attached to it is weakly Electron Withdrawing in nature. Bromine(-Br) attached to Benzene is an Electron Withdrawing Group(EWG).
