Hy rajshree.. First of all we react methyl bromide with ethyl bromide and sodium in presence of dry ether (wurtz reaction).. It gives propane.. React propane with Cl2, in presence of li8.. Then react with aq KOH.. Then oxidise it with KMnO4 to give propanone... Hope U like it..

Please find the solution to your problem below.
Bromomethane is treated with magnesium in dry ether to get methyl magnesium bromide.
CH3Br + Mg → CH3MgBr
CH3Br + Mg → CH3MgBr
Methyl magnesium bromide is treated with acetaldehyde/dil.H2SO4 to get propan-2-ol.
CH3MgBr + CH3CHO → CH3-CH(OH)-CH3
CH3MgBr + CH3CHO → CH3-CH(OH)-CH3
Propan-2-ol on oxidation with strong oxidising agents like K2Cr2O7 and KMnO4 gives propanone.
CH3-CH(OH)-CH3 + [O] → CH3-CO-CH3 + H2O
CH3-CH(OH)-CH3 + [O] → CH3-CO-CH3 + H2O
